 | Human Relations Commission Founded in 1993, the Human Relations Commission is made up of citizens of San Bernardino appointed by the Mayor and Common Council. The mission of the Commission is to educate the community and to eliminate all forms of prejudice and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, age, physical disability and sexual orientation. The Commission meets every second Thursday of every month at 4:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers on the first floor of City Hall located at 300 N. D Street. Members of the public are invited to attend.
The Many Faces of San Bernardino; Dialogues in Diversity
In 2004 the Human Relations Commission began the production of "The Many Faces of San Bernardino; Dialogues in Diversity." Eighteen thirty-minute shows were produced as Part One of the Series. These programs explored various ethnic groups as well as Senior, Youth and People with Eating Disorders. In June 2005 Part II began, and explores religious communities in San Bernardino as well as surrounding communities.
Currently the programs air on IEMG - Channel 3 on the following schedule:
Mondays - 7:00 p.m.
Sunday - 5:00 p.m.
