Norman F. Feldheym Central Library
photo Norman F. Feldheym Central Library opened to the public on September 30, 1985. The library was named in honor of the late Rabbi Norman F. Feldheym who was a board member and prominent citizen.

The 64,000 square foot library was designed by architects Gregory Villanueva and Oscar Anoni. Included in the design are the Citizen's Committee recommendations for an auditorium seating 200 named for a library benefactor and businessman Bing Wong, a computer lab named in memory of Maglyn W. Cosand, R.N., a reference center named in honor of former City Librarian Gertrude Odell, a literacy center named for Jack Hill and meeting rooms to accommodate an assembly of up to 100 people in honor of former City Librarian Mary Belle Kellogg.

Due to Budget Reductions, Operating Hours Have Been Reduced. Effective, Friday, February 27, 2009, Feldheym Central Library will be closed on Fridays until further notice.
