Registration Information: Class registration is on a first come/first serve basis. Some classes have a minimum attendance for class to proceed. Register in person at the Parks and Recreation main office or mail in registration form (along with check or money order made payable to the City of San Bernardino) to 1350 South "E" Street, San Bernardino CA 92408, unless otherwise noted. Adult Slow-Pitch Softball

Our year-round slow pitch softball program offers leagues for men, women, and co-ed teams at all skill levels. Games are played at Encanto Park, near the corner of Tenth St. and Mt. Vernon.

League Fees: $315 per resident team / $350 non-resident team, plus $35 refundable forfeit bond and $17 per team per game officials fee payable prior to each game. (The sum of $350 per team - resident or $385 per team non-resident due at time of registration - except returning teams with a current forfeit bond on file only pay a total of $315 (resident) or $350 (non-resident) at time of registration).

A completed roster and league fee must be submitted at time of registration.

Manager's Meeting: MANDATORY. Held at the Hernandez Community Center, 222 N. Lugo, San Bernardino. A team representative must attend.

Adult Baseball at Fiscalini Field

Adult recreational baseball team registration for Spring League is beginning. Games are played at Fiscalini Field, the past home of the San Bernardino Spirit professional baseball team.

League Play Available:

Tuesday: 5 - Team Men's Open Division 6:00 & 8:30 pm (no new inning after 2 hours)

Wednesday: 5 - Team Men's Open Division 6:00 & 8:30 pm (no new inning after 2 hours)

Thursday: 5 - Team Men's Open Division 6:00 & 8:30 pm (no new inning after 2 hours)

Saturday: 6 - Team Men's Open Division 9:00 am first game (no new inning after 2 hours & 45 minutes)

Sunday: 6 - Team Men's Over 30 Division 9:00 am first game (no new inning after 2 hours & 45 minutes)

Adult Tennis Clinics - Perris Hill Tennis Center

The Perris Hill Park Tennis Center has a professional teaching instructor and a new "look" tennis pro shop, for your tennis repair and shopping needs. Tennis professional, V.J. Scatliffe, will instruct adults and juniors in beginning, private, or group clinic lessons. Registration is taken at the Scatliffe String Hut Pro-Shop located at the tennis courts (1007 E. Highland Ave.).

For Beginning - Intermediate - Advanced Tennis Patrons - Ages 10 yrs to 99 yrs of age.

Class Days: Weekdays (M-F) ONLY (days to be set with the instructor)

Time: 5:30 - 9:30 p.m.

Fee: Private $30 per hour

Semi-private $20 per hour (2 persons)

Semi-private $15 per hour (3 - 7 persons)

Adult/Family Tennis - Blair Park Tennis Complex

Learn fundamentals of tennis play using United States Tennis Association's (USTA) USA Tennis Programs (strokes, rules, and practice drills) in a group setting. Competitive skill and match play will be introduced during the instructional sessions and encouraged for after session play. Students must wear tennis shoes while on the court and comfortable, non-hindering clothing is recommended. Bring your own racket to classes. Lessons are 90 minutes. Students under age 13 require a parent on-site. Minimum 4 students/Maximum 8 students.

Drill Sessions & Clinics

All ages and level of players. Drill sessions provide review of strokes and drills, rallying, and playing points. Clinics focus on specific strokes, tactics, error correction, match playing, adjustments, and situational opportunities and dilemmas. Register by the first Monday of the month. No make-ups in case of extreme winds, rain, light failure or holidays.

Adult Golf Lessons

It's time to get off the couch and away from the video screen and learn to play golf. You will learn the basics of golf swing, putting, driving, pitching, chipping, and sand play.
