The San Bernardino Police Department is dedicated to the pursuit of justice in each and every case that it investigates. Reality dictates that some cases may be handled with more staff and time than others, such as the taking of a human life. To this we do everything in our power to dedicate whatever resources necessary to complete a thorough investigation, resulting in closure for all involved.

The Police Department established, as part of its Fiscal Year 2008-2009 Reorganization Plan, the Investigations Division's Cold Case Detail with the purpose of actively continuing to investigate the most serious of cases.

This web page will profile as many of these cases as possible, on a regular basis. Information on active cases and cases which may be known to the reader but not yet profiled on this site, are welcome. It is our desire to bring together the efforts of our detectives and our patrol officers along with media exposure and the involvement of our community to bring to the surface whatever facts that we can generate to help find justice for the victims of these cases.

If you have any information regarding these cases, please contact the San Bernardino Police Department by telephone (909-384-5742) or by calling the Police Department's 24-hour hotline at 909-384-5656. Each case will include contact information for the detectives handling the case.  Additionally, we encourage and welcome the use of the national We-TIP hotline at 800-78-CRIME (800-782-7463).
