Lieutenant Mike Madden spent two years with the Claremont Police Department before lateralling to the San Bernardino Police Department in 1993.  Mike was born and raised in San Bernardino and always had a desire to serve the community he was raised in.  As an officer, Mike served as the Department's recruiter, as a field training officer, as a member of the bicycle mounted enforecement team and also as a motor officer.  Mike was promoted to detective in 2004 and he served in the Department's Crimes Against Children Unit.  In 2007, Mike was promoted to sergeant and he served as the Department's field training supervisor and also as an operations sergeant.  He was then assigned as the supervisor to the Detective Bureau's Crimes Against Person's Unit.  In January of 2012, Mike took over as the liuetenant in charge of the Northwest District.  Mike is truly honored to be serving the citizen's of San Bernardino and to be "back home".
