How it works:

You will be invited to subscribe to a variety of different web pages on the Police Department's website. When these pages are updated, you will receive an email. We offer subscriptions to the following web pages

Critical Incident Alerts and Messages:

This specialized SB Connect feature allows a person to list email addresses, including telephone text message addresses, with the Police Department so that information and urgent safety alert messages about incidents impacting the citizen's of San Bernardino can be sent as needed. Email addresses added to this specialized listing do not receive non-emergency medical releases or other City email messages. Families can add these messages to all text message ready cellular telephones to insure that everyone gets important time sensitive material. It is important to remember that these specialized urgent messages can be delayed by telephone and Internet provider traffic loads. This system does not replace, nor is it part of, the National Emergency Broadcast Messaging System.

Media Releases:

The Media Releases web page holds a copy of each of the San Bernardino Police Department's media/press releases. If you subscribe to this page, you will receive an email when a new media release notice is published.

Crime Statistics:

The Crime Statistics section of the Police Department's web site hosts a variety of different statistical information about the San Bernardino Police Department. When you subscribe to this section, you receive a message when any of the pages are updated.
