Purchasing recycled content products is an important part of "Closing the Loop". The purchase of recycled-content items helps to sustain a market for the items we recycle. Items that we use everyday are available in recycled-content, such as paper, pens, and pencils. We encourage you to request recycled-content products from your vendors. If your vendor does not supply your order item with recycled-content, use the following information to assist you.

CalMAX & KidMAX
The California Materials Exchange or CalMAX is a free service designed to help businesses find markets for materials they have traditionally discarded. CalMAX helps businesses, industries, and institutions save resources and money with the simple idea that "one business' trash is another business' treasure". Business, schools, and nonprofits can utilize CalMAX to search for available and wanted materials. KidMAX focuses on resource exchanges for California schools.
