Farmshare Market Every Thursday: 11AM-2PM (Court Street Square)

The Farmshare Market  is the first step towards creating a full and interactive market place and combating food insecurity, in San Bernardino. In the pipeline are food trucks,  health screenings and healthcare information, fresh baked bread, hummus, a  walking club, recipe exchanges, cooking demonstrations, a trip to the Old Grove  Orange hub and more. Previously coined  the “Citrus Belt” of Southern California, the Inland Empire was known for its  citrus groves and agriculture at the end of the 19th century. While farming  has diminished in prevalence, there remain several farmers. And it has not been  all tangerines. With the rise of corporate farming and the arrival of the Asian  Citrus Psyllid (a small insect carrying bacterium that can be decimate citrus  groves in the region), farmers are now changing their method of delivery.
