Mayor Patrick J. Morris grew up in Needles, California. He is a graduate of the University of Redlands, cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and Stanford University School of Law.

Virginia Marquez

Virginia Marquez was elected as the 1st Ward City Councilwoman in November of 2009 and on March 1, 2010, she took the oath of office and was officially sworn in to duty.

Robert Jenkins

Robert Jenkins, a 4th-generation San Bernardino resident, was elected to represent the citizens of the 2nd Ward in a Special Election in July of 2011. He was sworn into office by the Mayor on August 1, 2011.

Tobin Brinker

Tobin Brinker was elected in a special election in November 2006 to fill a vacancy when his predecessor moved away. Mr. Brinker was reelected in 2007 for a complete four-year term. Mr. Brinker previously served one term as a Colton School Board Member from 2001-2005.

Fred Shorett

Fred Shorett, a 3rd-generation San Bernardino resident and small businessman, was elected to represent the citizens of the 4th Ward in a Special Election in March of 2009.  He received more than 72% of the total vote.

Chas A. Kelley

Councilman Chas A. Kelley was elected to the City Council in November 2003 and re-elected in November 2007 and was sworn in to represent the residents of the Fifth Ward of the City of San Bernardino on March 1, 2004. His term will expire in March 2012. He currently serves on the Grants Ad Hoc Committee, Ways & Means Committee and the Education Bridge Committee.

Rikke Van Johnson

Rikke Van Johnson is a 49 year resident of the City of San Bernardino. He is a graduate of Eisenhower High School in Rialto, CA and has an Associate of Arts Degree from San Bernardino Valley College.

Wendy McCammack

Wendy McCammack is presently serving her third term on the San Bernardino City Council. Her current term continues to the year 2012.

City Attorney
James F. Penman

Jim Penman missed being a native son of the Golden West when his Mississippi-born mother refused to "give birth to a damn Yankee" and flew back to Jackson, Mississippi from San Bernardino for the occasion. Approximately two months later, Jim became a resident of San Bernardino County.

Rachel Clark

The City Clerk's Office consists of four divisions: Administration, Business Registration, Elections, and Records Management. The Elections Division is mobilized only during the period when elections are conducted.

David C. Kennedy

The City Treasurer is a part-time position elected at large to a four-year term. The City Treasurer is responsible for overseeing City investments and related policies as established by the Common Council.
