Wayne Hendrix
Wayne Hendrix is a Registered Civil Engineer with more than 38 years of experience in civil engineering and construction, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Association of General Contractors (AGC), Inland Action, the Transportation Committee for Inland Action, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Educational Planning Committee.

 Wayne’s current position as Vice President of Matich Corporation includes project cost control, contract administration, and construction management for local and federally-funded projects, constructability reviews, consulting with owners and contractors on value engineering decisions, contract negotiations, claims review and recommendations.

Wayne is required to act as the owner’s representative during project meetings with Regional Water Quality Boards, Air Quality Management Districts, Flood Control Districts, California Integrated Waste Management Board, California State Department of Water Resources, State Division of Dam Safety, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and numerous local enforcement agencies.

Wayne has served on numerous boards, including the San Bernardino County Emergency Medical Care Committee, Board of Trustees - St. Bernardine Medical Center Foundation, San Bernardino Regional Water Resources Advisory Committee, City of San Bernardino Planning Commission and City of San Bernardino Commissioner of Building Officials, San Bernardino County Court House Ad-Hoc Committee, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Impact Foundation and the Arrowhead Country Club.  He served as Chapter President of California Society of Professional Engineers (CSPE).

The Mayor appointed Wayne Hendrix as Commissioner to the City of San Bernardino Board of Water Commissioners on January 5, 2009.
