The Purchasing department strives to ensure all procurement transactions are conducted in a legal, ethical, and professional manner. We abide by the procurement laws and regulations set forth by the Federal and local government, our internal policies and procedures, which result in the most efficient, economical and responsible purchases. We offer all domestic businesses an opportunity to compete on an equal basis. We serve all operations within the department, from the pencils that are used to multi million dollar construction contracts. The Purchasing staff is comprised of the Purchasing Agent, the Assistant Purchasing agent, Buyer, Warehouse Lead Supervisor and support staff.

Fleet Services is dedicated to providing and maintaining safe, fuel efficient vehicles, and equipment; implementing the latest in service and repair technology; and striving to enhance the San Bernardino Municipal Water Department's mission to provide trusted, quality service to our customers. Fleet Services maintains over 200 vehicles and equipment for the Water Department.
