San Bernardino Offers Multiple Locations to Stay Cool During This Heat Wave

Over the next week, temperatures in San Bernardino are forecast to far exceed 100 degrees.

The City of San Bernardino wants to remind its residents to stay indoors during peak temperature hours, limit outdoor exercise or work to the early morning or evening hours, stay hydrated - drink lots of liquids, keep your pets inside or in the shade with plenty of water, and most importantly, keep tabs on elderly friends or family.

Air conditioning can get very expensive and can put a strain on the power grid. San Bernardino would like to remind you that it has many locations open around the city that residents can use to cool off.

Note: All City facilities will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of Labor Day.
