Public Official Appointments & Gifts to the City

The California Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) requires cities to post multiple forms to ensure the public is aware of other compensations being received by City public officials, as well as, what gifts the City, and its officials, may have received from third parties. This webpage includes the following:

Form 700

  • Form 700, Statement of Economic Interests, discloses personal assets and income (Government Code Sections 81000-91014).

Form 802 & City Ticket Distribution Policy

  • Form 802 identifies agency officials who receive tickets or passes from the agency as well as other individuals and organizations that receive tickets or passes at behest of agency officials. As such, the City is required to post a ticket distribution policy.

Form 806

  • Form 806 reports additional compensation that officials receive when appointing themselves to positions on other committees, boards or commissions of a public agency, special districts, and joint power agencies/authorities. Each agency must post a single Form 806 listing all paid appointed positions including the date appointed, length of term, and stipend amount.
